FRIENDS Down Syndrome West Florida has put together a video at our Easter Picnic. FDSWF is raising funds to open THE FRIENDS CENTER - A Down syndrome center that will offer all our current programming and provide a desperately needed daycare, after-school program, and adult day program for all special needs individuals.. Thanks to everyone who participated, we had a lot of fun taping it. Please share the video.

How to Approach My Brother With Down Syndrome

I’ve grown up with my brother, Michael, who has Down syndrome my whole life. It’s always been natural for me to approach another individual with disabilities without hesitation. However, I’ve noticed that even some of my closest friends struggle with approaching Michael, so I thought I’d write about ways to make it easier.
