Our F.R.I.E.N.D.S. - DOWN SYNDROME WEST FLORIDA (FDSWF) non-profit has been working very hard to coordinate some amazing programs, community events, and initiatives for our Tampa Bay individuals impacted with Down syndrome.  Our Goal is to work together to advocate, educate and celebrate by taking meaningful action in our local community, and we did!

We have been busy raising money to open THE FRIENDS CENTER, which will offer all our year-round programs and events, plus a desperately needed DAY CARE and AFTER SCHOOL and ADULT DAY PROGRAM to the special need’s community. 

We invite you to sponsor and to partner with us for our 4th 3.21K Fun Run & Buddy Walk to help us reach our goal of $100,000.  Our theme this year is “Sometimes You Gotta Run Before You Walk!”   We are asking our Tampa Bay community, city and business leaders, partners and families, for help as we make Tampa not only Down syndrome friendly, but inclusive for all special needs. Help us show our Down syndrome Pride!

You may make your payment online.  Once you have completed your application you will be automatically directed to the payment page.

Artwork and Logos should be submitted to no later than September 31st. Logos for t-shirts are printed in one color and should be submitted as a vector file. Logos for website and social media should be submitted in high resolution JPEG or EPS files.

Participants that receive complimentary race entries as part of their sponsorship can register for the 3.21k by providing participant information to Ann Foyt at
